25 Years/25 Stories25: What's Your Story?The 25 Years/25 Stories series commemorates Minnesota AIDS Project's 25th year of service by sharing a new story twice a month about the significant moments, people, or programs that have made a difference in Minnesota's fight against HIV. Throughout the year, MAP has documented many stories of people working to stop HIV in Minnesota. In our last story, 25: What's Your Story?, we mark the end of our 25th year of service and ask you to think about your story and how you can make a difference. Minnesota AIDS Projects Recognizes its SupportersEvery year the Minnesota AIDS Project (MAP) depends on the generous donations of many individuals, groups, and corporations to support its mission of stopping HIV in Minnesota. As 2008 comes to a close, we thank everyone who continues to support our important work. While we aren’t able to highlight every gift, MAP will include examples of support here to recognize some of our outstanding donors. Twin Cities Goodtime Softball LeagueOn Saturday, October 4, the Twin Cities Goodtime Softball League held an event at the Minneapolis Eagle and Bolt bar to celebrate the successful end of its 30th season of softball in Minnesota, including a beer bust and raffle. The league raised over $500, which it donated to the Minnesota AIDS Project. Read More...
